Hope Welfare Trust Achievements: A Milestone Year for Global Impact in 2025

For families living in some of the world’s most difficult conditions, 2025 was more than just another year. It was a year of recovery and new beginnings. Hope Welfare Trust has released its 2025 Impact Report, and the results are truly life-changing.

By turning PKR 172.6 million in donations into direct action, the Trust reached people in places ranging from the high, cold mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan to the plains of Sindh. This has been the most successful year since the charity first opened its doors.

The real heart of this report isn’t found in numbers, but in the feeling of safety. For many, 2025 was the year they finally left temporary tents behind. In one village, a family of six stood together to watch the final bricks being placed on their new house, one of 73 sturdy homes built this year. These houses have given people their dignity back.

“Every brick we lay and every well we dig means a life has been changed,” a spokesperson for the Trust said. “Our donors have shown incredible kindness. Because of them, thousands of people who were struggling now have a better, safer future.”

The Year in Numbers

The 2025 report shows exactly how the PKR 172.63 million was used to support vulnerable communities:

  • Hope Welfare Hospital (PKR 15.22 Million): The hospital stayed open 24/7 to provide life-saving care. Much of this funding went towards dialysis, essential medicines, surgeries, and chemotherapy. For many, this facility is the only place they can access advanced medical help for free.
  • Emergency Relief (PKR 12.66 Million): When disaster struck, teams were on the ground immediately. The charity ran four major projects, including food packs for Ramadan and emergency aid for those hit by floods in Punjab and KPK. These projects ensured families had food and supplies during their hardest moments.
  • Building Schools (PKR 11.88 Million): With a focus on ending poverty through education, the Trust invested in building new schools, creating sports areas for children, and repairing old government buildings to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • New Homes (PKR 81.23 Million): This was the largest area of investment this year. The Trust built 73 permanent homes across AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, and KPK. These houses provide safety and dignity to families who lost their livelihoods to floods or extreme poverty.
  • Clean Water (PKR 23.98 Million): The charity finished 54 water projects this year. By installing deep wells and pumps, they have helped prevent waterborne diseases and saved women and children from walking miles every day just to find water.
  • Vocational and Student Support (PKR 2.39 Million): Support was also given directly to individuals. Scholarships were provided to 66 students to help them stay in university. Additionally, 45 women were trained in professional stitching and sewing, giving them the skills to earn an income and support their households.

Real Stories of Change

While the numbers are impressive, the real impact is seen in the villages. In Darra Adam Khel, a new deep-water well now serves over 800 people. Instead of spending all day carrying heavy water buckets, children are now back in school.

In the vocational training centres, the women who completed their courses are already working together to sell their products. These are not just statistics on a page. They represent a generation of women who are gaining independence and a voice in their communities.

Trust and the Future

Hope Welfare Trust still follows a 100% donation policy. This means every single penny you give goes directly to these projects. We pay for our staff and offices using separate grants and Gift Aid. As a registered UK charity, we are committed to being honest and open about everything we do.

Looking ahead to 2026, we want to help even more people. We plan to build more homes that can stand up to bad weather and install more solar-powered water pumps.

“Our work is not over,” the Trust stated. “But 2025 showed us what we can do when we work together. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us turn hope into reality this year.”
