A Sacred Duty that Uplifts Communities

Fitraana, also known as Zakat al-Fitr, is a mandatory charity given by Muslims at the end of Ramadan. It is given before Eid prayer, and serves as a way to purify the fast and make sure that the vulnerable communities celebrate Eid equally with others.

Hope Welfare Trust helps your Fitraana reach families in Azad Kashmir who are waiting for help.

Why should Muslims give Fitraana?

For Muslims, Fitraana is a spiritual obligation and an act of compassion that brings blessings to you and the needy

Shelter & Support

Your Fitraana can help provide shelter to communities with no stable income and on the verge of economic collapse.

Who should pay Fitraana?

In Islam, Fitraana is obligatory on every Muslim, whether young, old, male, or female, if they possess the means. For children and dependents, it is the responsibility of their parents or guardians. The head of the household is expected to give Fitraana on behalf of all family members under their care.

"Whoever gives it before the Eid prayer, it is accepted as Zakat, and whoever gives it after the prayer, it is merely charity (Sadaqah) among charities."

Give Before Eid Salah

Fitraana must reach those in need before the Eid prayer. Donate early so our team can distribute in time.
